Проект Igni был создан музыкантами на третьем курсе джазовой школы и в то же время, в том же месте, был записан данный альбом, как обычное желание, записать что-то свое. Главным автором музыки является Джейкоб Левенштейн и в своем авторстве он пытается как можно грамотнее сосредоточить мелодику и гармонию своих композиций. Естественно здесь не обошлось без влияний очень авторитетных проектов, но все же "The Pale" - это удачный шаг в сторону небольшой оригинальности. Для дизайна использованы скриншоты игры Skyrim, т.к. ребята являются ее большими поклонниками.

"It is the story of our journey through that fantasy; the one we only live out on our computers at night, or deep inside the pages of our favorite books, or rooted in the hearts of our favorite actors on screen, or maybe miles and miles down the chasms of our mind and far into other realities while we sleep.

It's about the magic of fantasy and imagination and limitless possibilities; to roam far away lands foreign to us. The pain of loss, the energy we give each other, the magic moments that fill us with hope to keep on journeying in this life and to listen to that magic telling us to stay.

I have put some of my own fantasy and imagination into my work, in the hope that others see that there truly is some kind of magic in my music and in it's fantasy, and that our energies can create things truly wondrous and amazing."
